Around boats and water, life jackets and the weather forecast matter most.
General guidance; check the weather and local conditions yourself before you go.
Drink
Tea poured into several separate coloured layers in one glass, invented in Sreemangal. It is more about the look than the taste, but worth trying once.
Local produce
Picking up a few grades of loose tea from shops near the estates is the classic thing to take home.
