About
TravelVerseBD is a Bangladesh-first travel platform. Colour in your travels on a 64-district map, find places and plan trips, and keep your memories.
Information for travelling inside Bangladesh is scattered: some of it old, some buried in ads, some only in English. We want one place, in Bangla and English, that says honestly where to go, when to go, roughly what it costs and where to be careful.
Our rule is simple: we do not make up what we do not know, and anything not fully checked is labelled that way.
Guide text lives in our own editorial content files and changes through version control, so every edit has a history. Each district, place, food and event carries a verification status.
The sources and licences of maps, weather and photos are on the Credits & licences page.
A small label beside each piece of information in the guide says how far it has been checked. There are six states:
Taken from a government or responsible authority's source.
Details change over time. Check locally before you travel.

Right now almost all guide text is still in the “Awaiting check” state. We are adding editor verification step by step, and the label changes once something is verified. Treat these as a first guide to confirm locally before you travel.
Costs are not price quotes; they are a rough guide. They are calculated from the visible model below and are always labelled “estimated”. The numbers come straight from our cost-model.json content file.

Guide drafts written with AI help get the “Awaiting check” label and keep it until an editor checks them against sources. Trip drafts and assistant answers are suggestions: they are built from the map and guide data but can be wrong.
AI never earns an “official” or “verified” label by itself.
