The memorial complex at the site where Bangladesh's provisional government took its oath on 17 April 1971. Its 23 triangular walls stand for the 23 years of Pakistani rule, and the original mango grove is beside it. Sculptures in the complex were damaged in 2024, so check the current state before you go.

The estate of the Acharya Chowdhury zamindars of Muktagachha, a sprawling compound of buildings, temples and ponds. Much of it is crumbling, but the carving and old architecture still show through.
