A folk art museum in an old mansion known as Sardar Bari, set in large grounds with a lake. Displays include nakshi kantha quilts, terracotta, woodwork and everyday village objects.

A small single-domed mosque from the Sultanate period near Panam Nagar, known for its fine stone and brick carving. Few visitors and a calm setting.

A Mughal river fort on the west bank of the Shitalakshya, built to guard Dhaka against Magh and Portuguese pirates. The five-sided walls and musket loopholes are still clear.
