Excavated foundations of a Buddhist monastery a few kilometres west of Mahasthangarh. Far quieter than Mahasthan, and reached along village roads.

A tall brick mound in Gokul village, south-west of Mahasthangarh. Excavation revealed the base of a Buddhist stupa, but locally it is known as the bridal chamber of Behula and Lakhindar from the old ballad.

A three-domed mosque built in 1582 in Sherpur upazila, a good example of early Mughal-period building. It stands in an open, quiet compound.
